Dissensus as a whole has fallen into line with that revaluation. What little enthusiasm for music there has been here over the last few years has been for the likes of autechre.

well @sadmanbarty has been working with all this trap etc so he's holding out for it.

personally i tend to like music that is at the crossroads of black and white culture. black music i would suspect (if i split up my collection) mainly but mixrace at the least. a lot of the rock music i like - classic rock - is characterised by fabulous rhythm sections. even the best post-punk was haunted by disco, funk and reggae. hardcore - jungle - obviously.

I don't think it's the most enthusiasm for autechre, it's the most vocal part of the forum saying how good/dreadful they are. Other posters have been talking about other music plenty but arousing less debate.
