Sorry I have plenty of condescension for the legions of polltakers who call themselves social scientists, or the verbal masturbators who identify as philosophers, but no, very few novelists or poets have any idea what they're talking about, lack basic understandings of human nature, can only reflect the immediate ideology of their culture. This isn't a contradiction, to insult the two sides at once: Sturgeon's Law rules everything around me.
