Neeraj Chopra made history for India earlier. The farmer’s son, aged 23, took gold with a winning throw of 87m 58cm. Czech chuckers Jakub Vadlejch and Vitezslav Vesely took silver and bronze. That’s India’s first ever track or field gold.
