ok so the first one, i watched the video. pretty good. anthemic, or striving for that. sort of a novelty thing tho, party tune. it feels like he's in the midwest or something, it's a bit sparse. it feels pretty new, maybe not 2021 but maybe 2010 - 2015. kinda put me in mind of soulja boy but not as good, or as novelty.

2nd one is probably the one that immediately feels the best out of all the 4 you have posted. i would put it at number 1, then goody mob, then drakeo, then mouse on the track last probably.

i like the beat - very simple but does what it needs to do. and it just feels like quite a good improv style performance ffrom one person, it feels quite lofi, which i like. it reminds me of gucci mane and that sort of sound. it's atlanta right? and mid 2000s?

i've not heard of either of them before, and not looked anything up about them, but i'll keep an eye out for fat trel.

Fat Trel is from DC actually one of the first big names to come out of DC around 2010 alongside Wale, that track is off his first mixtape and in a weird way kinda predicts the sort of messy autotune stuff that Chief Keef(they've only done two tracks before a shame they never did more) would do later,he's a great rapper for a guy so gutter and filthy he came up rapping in open mic spoken word clubs so he's got that kind of gruff technicality and appreciation for words going on. Alot of people feel like Trel fell off sometime around the early 2010s or really not reach the potential that he could've reached but i still think he's put out some good stuff.

The first one Mouse on tha track is from 2011,Baton Rouge guy his beats and the fact that he was working with people like Boosie, Webbie(no relation) and Foxx pretty much made Trill Ent. a powerhouse label in the mid 00s he's a spiritual successor to Mannie Fresh in that sense(who famously produced all of the Cash Money stuff).

I've watched it now. Dunno really, tune itself felt like migos or something, a bit lighter perhaps, more fluttery and fun. Like you can't really follow what hes saying, but it doesn't matter there's a nice rhythm to it.

It's a version of black psychedelia I suppose, but not very deep or compelling.

Not really the sort of thing that grabbed me. Maybe it could become an ear worm if I heard it on the radio loads.

I thought the video started out interesting with the thunderbirds style but then became a bit standard. And the guy looks like the one out of black eyed peas and once I thought that, it was over. Pink trousers as well. Although he had some blue bits on there too for a bit of balance.

If I was gonna rank it, with the ones webbie has posted, I'd put it somewhere alongside mouse probably, towards the bottom of the list.

Why did you pick these particular tracks. @WebEschatology ?
so far these are all tracks are ones that i've liked but i've picked them because i feel like they have a quality or aspect about them that is interesting or worth talking about also i'm doing it by region i've stuck to the south and the west coast so far. Trel being from DC is the only anomaly in that i don't think we've really talked about that region on here

as far as tracks i don't like(or partially like) i'll lay my reasons out when we get to them but i pick them in the sense of "i might hate it but you might"
