electro/pop as opposed to electro-pop
I'm thinking Section 25 is a bit more sort of serious than what I'm thinking of somehow.
electro/pop as opposed to electro-pop
again, don't know if this fits the bill, but it's trying to be an electro pop song ( in a mannered early 80s student disco style )
Portion Control - Raise The Pulse
In my head Portion Control are a bit more serious too.... although they did do a song called Onion Jack so maybe that's just bullshit.....
Not totally sure what the brief is here but I've got a feeling this might fit the bill
does this count?
Die Zwei - Grapsch!
does this fit? Im thinking because of the staccato choral synth hook which is quite electro
Is this the kind of thing (and if not, it’s still a great 80s tune)
this seems like its from an alternate universe, but one where humans developed in more or less the same way and most things are the same. but things are just slightly off. like that crazy russian film where they find another planet but its just full of medieval humans torturing each other. It's strange to think the people in this video are people just like us. and it's not even that long ago. But their whole worldview seems completely different. I don't understand. Did irony exist in the 80s? How did people react to things like this at the time? Was the UK this weird then or just america? Really love the song btw
sorry this is probably or definitely the wrong thread, but it led me to this song. it is at least silly, though that might not count as it's accidental
yes that's it. I've not actually seen it but the premise alone captured my imagination since i heard about itHard To Be A God?
There are at least two adaptations of the book (which was written by the Strugatsky brothers who also wrote Roadside Picnic, adapted by Tarkovsky into Stalker).yes that's it. I've not actually seen it but the premise alone captured my imagination since i heard about it
