wouldnt you rather be able to sleep at night ray?

Long gone are the days where I stay up at night worrying about what people or the internet think about me.

Just trying to get all that money so I can retire early on the Island of Eleuthera

shame, can always do a paypal resolution center claim if its not sorted.

on a different topic, who are people rating currently out of the new crop of grime - outside of slew dem, roll deep, n.a.s.t.y - I don't really know too much. but i've not heard a single mc in ages who has really grabbed me, all the guys on lotm III seemed pretty weak to me.

I think with me and grime, I can only really enjoy an MC when the instrumental is doing it for me - and there aren't a whole lot of producers really doing it, darq e freaker though stands out.

Not many decent MCs about at the moment. Merky Ace is really good and his Catch Up EP is worth getting. He wasn't the best on LOTM so ignore that. The last Rage CD is worth a listen as well.

There are a fair few producers about I like at the moment. Rocks, Flava D, Splurt, Spooky, Darq E Freaker, S-X & Faze Miyake are the best imho

i've got a label twitter, but i might delete it - never been able to see the point with it. just seems like the shitest form of communication.

i'll check splurt and rocks soon.

looking forward to the next hype relay ep from darq e freaker

This is Rocks -

Splurt's tunes are pretty moody but I like them. You can get some on Merky Ace's Bandcamp - http://merkyace.bandcamp.com/ + He had a tune on The Quadrant EP - http://oilgang.co.uk/album/quadrant-ep-oil-gang-002-digital

Yeah sorry slight delay with that EP. I got the WAVs yesterday and I need to get my mate to master them before I upload them. Then it takes 5 weeks to get on itunes, Juno etc. They're on the way though.

nice piece... true this:

Throughout the MC sets the other DJs opted for more classics then current, which to me was the only complaint of the night. Hardly heard anything from the current heavy hitting producers like Teddy, Rude Kid, Terror, Royal-T, Preditah, D.O.K etc, hopefully that won’t happen again at the next one.

weird to hear Take Off so much in the few clips i saw, but not hear Woo Riddim, Dirtbag, or anything else from the last 5 years...

but it must have been fucking amazing to hear Are You Really From the Endz dropped LOUD, so...

i imagine (hope) the next one will be less of a time warp and more about 2003-2012 inclusive...

Was watching BBK last night and the other night. Agree with what you said on Twitter about Ustream taking pirate radio's crown Blackdown.
