Does anyone know when Skrillex is arriving in Dublin by plane/boat/whatever,and are you going to be able to see him?
just cause i couldnt get tickets (under 18) and i have followed him since 2010 and i really just want to see him,anyone know?

was just checking out online snippets of the burial/massive attack 12" and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

haven't yet seen any mention of it here, is everyone over him?

(btw, don't get me wrong, i still think most of his stuff is great. maybe it's just not where my head is at today.)

thought it was pretty dull but more to the point vinyl factory can fuck off. limited press. no digital. price ramped up for some shitty screenprint sleeve. i appreciate people want to support vinyl as a format but i don't see how this helps. let it die.

Another thing related to people wanting to support vinyl... Whats with the amount of triple and double packs around atm? Don't get me wrong a good LP or compilation is great to buy but when so much stuff is in big packs you dont want to spend the money. Keep it to single 12"s so people can buy the individual tunes they like!

There was an awful phase of single sided 10's earlier in the year, still full price mind.
One thing you notice when playing records from 90s, garage especially is the the amount of 12s with 4 tunes on. You get a lot of stuff now with big empty spaces on the plate, Hyperdub do it a bit. Something experimental or something could of go those spaces.

^ yeah it's waste of space in current situation where vinyl isn't financially profitable. besides, buyer gets more content for money from EPs/records with different mixes (this is what i like about house records)!

and empty space could be indeed filled with something experimental, like doing some crazy mix of a populist vocal track for specialist crew. or then just a new tune.
