this should have been posted about 3 months ago but ive only just heard the 'official' (universal records) version of KIG's HSKT - only been listening to an mp3 of the one from youtube all this time. i like both versions but they ruined it a bit i think in trying to put it into more of a pop song format. also, regardless of what the scene protectors say, this song is fucking classic.

finally got a proper id on Sugar Coated Lover, thanks to Dusk and Blackdown's May rinse set... in hindsight i can hear how it sounds like Geiom, but i guess i wouldn't of had him pegged for producing such an insanely gorgeous smooth vocal tune. Marita sounds fabulous. good scene, that.

This certainly does sound horrific.
Persona's got a bongo man (or did both times I went) but that's quite tolerable, really, in that he's actually good.

Yeah, bongo man is wicked. Just the horn man violated me with his repetitive 1 stab, 4 note blasts.

this is no reason not to go of course. i can't wait.
