Yeah that's what came to my mind when I read about this but then I checked the details - Champion's not getting a permanent slot, he's joining "In new djs we trust" and doing a 1h weekly show with Serious just in september

champion likes to play a lot of old funky (and grime) from a select list of producers, but you gotta admit those old bits are bangin as fuck. Not exactly reppin funky, but still giving it a good name

I take it y'all already know about this. Brackles just played the Notion remix on Rinse its tremendous. The original is a straight classic too. Has there been a mix as good as Andy Jay and S-Tee's 1xtra Radio Raving mix since that mix came out? Cos if so I want to know about it.

Listening to Maximum and Spyro DJing on Rinse from years back the other day reminded me of that golden time when Funky was really like the resurrection of grime or something (not saying grime died).

probably a long but shot but if anyone has an mp3 of the marcus nasty bday show last year with donaeo and heartless, that would be amazing. ditto, that show from a few years back with JME and frisco. lost mine with my old hard drive.
