OK

what are you saying, if anything?

or, what statements are you making, if any? as opposed to just asking questions

Read the thread. It's actually not difficult nor is it controversial. You lot just get weird any time an idea is introduced and feel you have to resist it with all your might. It's a well established pattern. We do this every time.

It's the unconscious desire for a catastrophic thread.

clearly, humans involve themselves in conflict.

where does this come from?

idk
neither do I

I might say, competition for resources. and you might ask, why do they compete? I don't know.

like I said I don't think you're wrong, just that it's a question can't be definitively answered

certainly it can't be answered by pointing and history and saying, this is why

you're being really terrible lately dude and like I say, I'm sorry you turned 40 but get over it

Vimothy is having a discussion. you're throwing an extended tantrum heavily interspersed with grossly unearned condescension. this is you at your internet worst.

I have nothing but love for you and I hope you feel better soon my dude.

there isn't anything other than ppl and their actions so ultimately you have to fall back to them
I don't disagree

I just don't think you can take those actions as evidence of motivations

as we've just mentioned, if we don't know what we ourselves want, how can we know what anyone else wants?

it's true there isn't any other evidence to parse ultimately

it's obvious that violence is an integral part of the history of humanity

what Im saying is that there's a dark side to ppl, a will to catastrophe
I would agree with this as well, btw

just think it's basically impossible to isolate it, to point at something and say, there it is

was droid disagreeing with that (were you, droid)?

don't think it's contradictory that this element exists in some, possibly all, people, but at the same time where we find ourselves now is the specific end product of specific historical circumstances

we're going in circles around an ultimately unsolvable problem

tho what really matters isn't an answer, but how we choose to respond to the circumstances we find ourselves in

and following that, I think droid's view is more important in the face of an immediate existential crisis for humanity

but I don't think vimothy, or luka, are "wrong"
