third you are no doubt the biggest most fucked up sicko on the board, no one denies that. to you the smell of shit is good. you sleep contently on a bed of broken glass. but were talking about different feelings here. it does not matter that Black sabbath is pretty tame rock music, it is still Heavy because the heavy is a feeling outside of brutality/intensity.

Yes, but you haven't posted Penderecki then, to make your point adequately. instead invoking Kate Bush, and thereby setting the weird dualism between pop and rock music.

Im not talking about genres I literally am just talking about when songs use loud bass tones with the mids turned down and the treble turned up in conjunction with a certain set of usually lurching rhythms. I didnt want to say that because now the mystique is gone.

Electric Wizard doesn't really have bass though. It's just the distorted downtuned guitars that give an illusion of strong bass. But it's nothing compared to Bob Marley, really.
