nostalgia for 50 years ago isn't totally unjustified i think (the usual caveats, disclaimers, etc). harking back to a different time that's pretty different but still within living memory. quite a normal human feeling, probably heightened in a time where everything changes so fast. england isn't exactly unrecognisable but it is hugely different in very key ways from 1972 or whenever, and that isn't ancient history.

Weird times. Unreal servitude and grovelling, so much transference going on. Wtf are they all lining for? I bet Moldbug is there with Becks

Please Mr King sir, your Mum was just like my mum. Bringing people together, all her kindness. Yes Mr King sir, condolences but (hesitance) please can my family have a hot bath this winter? Mr King sir? Mr King, sir? He’s not listening, oh, he’s very busy. (shouting as cavalcade passes) Thank you for working so hard Mister King sir, we’re so eternally grateful. What’s that, his brother is available?

have you considered getting a big speaker connecting it to your computer and having a voice robot read out dissensus posts

i think it would be good to be in the queue and listen to an idlerich epic, you could really get into it

woops

is not like other people
have you considered belting out the national anthem and getting the words wrong
many times. footballers often do thus
have you considered getting a big speaker connecting it to your computer and having a voice robot read out dissensus posts

i think it would be good to be in the queue and listen to an idlerich epic, you could really get into it

ive started to see it as a kind of political display, show of strength, silent march
, occupying the capital. ever since i saw a youngish man ostentatiously brandishing a roger scruton paperback

the point is The Queue itself tho obviously, and not the royal audience with a box
the longer it is the more people want to do it
its the suffering and the sacrifice that appeals
partly as a gesture of subservience, plus other things muddled in
