Universally agreed terrible film(s)

The tech is a huge part of it for me; modern filming techniques are just ugly. It doesn't matter if it's Scorsese or some newcomer.
Yeah in a lot of things people's faces and all the rooms and everything looks like CGI. I don't know how or why they do that. Even the posters look ridiculous like that new Paul Schrader film the card counter.

the poster looks like a ps2 game cover

I never bothered playing GTA V precisely because of what Luka's talking about. The music was one of the best bits of the series and now they've got Flying Lotus hosting a radio station and playing 'Windowlicker' and stuff like Thundercat and Hudson Mohawke.

Are the same people running the series who made the other games? Maybe they're just too old to make a convincing game set in the modern era.

It's the era where you lose the centre. The same thing is happening now with the news but it happened with culture first

Well the old games weren't set in the present were they. This is one of the differences

crazy how many of these I know. If you wanted to know what being a college freshman in 13-14 felt like it's this

Yeah, but the people who made them will have grown up in those eras whereas now they're probably all old and grasping for the zeitgeist.
