More of a question really.
On the Cooly G fact mix there's the Hard Soul - Self Religion (Believe In Me) tune with a male and female vocal. Ive heard a house song with the same male vocal 'you gotto believe in something, why not believe in me' but in 95ish. Does anyone have any idea about this earlier version ? Or is the Hard Soul a 200X remix of thier own earlier version ?

The date is right on the first one but it must of been a ruffer or dub mix of same tune as there were no pianos. And thinking about it, it was on React. Cheers.

Where has this Funkstep name come from? It only seems to be Scratcha that is peddling it about, anyone else on Rinse using it? I didn't think it was possible to get a worse genre name than UK Funky but I think this might just take it.

Saw on SKVibemaker's twitter that in an interview with JME, logan stated that Funky MC's are 'lyrically shit'. Now for 1, funky MC's are not just lyrically shit, they are shit & not needed in general. But if I have got to listen to Funky MC's I garuantee you im not listening intently on there 'content'. I mean really? What a silly thing to say.
