heard this last night at a house party and it tripped me out like woah and all the girls danced all sexy. turned out it's flippin paul mcartney and he did it in the same session as 'wonderful christmastime'. wtf?!
been listening to all these hype williams albums lately, fucking great. it's like you're listening to something you weren't ever really supposed to hear. like going through your mates tunes on his computer while he's passed out on the sofa or something.

old soul-jazz-funk stuff. basically lps that i bought ages ago but never really listened to properly. gil scot herons first few albums - i think the quality did drop a bit overall after they left flying dutchman, sly stones small talk, some bobby womack, miles davis' birth of cool (i love that album). la lupe and santana also. not sure music gets better than this stuff.
liking the caretaker's new one, not as artsy/annoying as his other recent stuff. also been on a bit of an edits/slow disco kick: eddie c "parts unknown", the revenge album, 6th borough project.
