Rich's set was great I wrote down a buncha the tracks, me n my friends were all really impressed with how he managed to maintain a consistent vibe while hopping so freely between genres. My friend Jake said "he's so free genres don't even exist he's liberated himself from category and exists purely in mood." Well I'm paraphrasing it was a conversation but that was the idea
Glad you enjoyed mate, thank you. I think that's the way to go when you're on after a band you don't know too much about and you're playing yo a disparate crowd who aren't expecting anything particular and you don't have any pressure to make em dance or anything.
Also, Ricardo, as you may have noticed, is incredibly supportive of quite a varied sound. He doesn't really want people doing a set at the same bpm, he actively encourages you to a bit strange... earlier on I was playing stuff that some bar owners might say isn't conducive to a cheerful drinking vibe such as these...
... but he couldn't be happier.
