From a Danish point of view the Swedish situation looks pretty dire. Tegnell has admitted mistakes at the care homes in the beginning of the pandemic, otherwise he consistenly argues that you shouldn't compare Sweden to the rest of Scandinavia, but to the Netherlands or UK.
A couple of days ago he mentioned immigrants were a main vector of the spread, which was a pretty shocking statement from a Swedish public official although he has hinted at that before.

Strikes me that the Nordic countries, while obviously not identical, are in many ways a lot more similar to each other than each of them is to other countries in Europe.

I can't read Swedish but every chart there shows a pretty steep upward climb starting around October. What am I missing?
