theres plenty of straight "normal" couples who can't use the old fashioned route - hence the prominence of IVF. whats your opinion on that? do you consider them freaks of nature or something?

I can't for the life of me see where this has come from. Who mentioned 'nature'? I certainly didn't.
While it's obviously great that IVF can help couples who'd otherwise be unable to have kids, surely it's preferable not to have to use IVF in the first place? It's extremely expensive, for a start.
